India
v/s China
Why the world may think, that the Indian elephant will
overcome the Chinese dragon!

India
beat out China for a port project in Myanmar, set up listening stations in
Mozambique and Madagascar, to monitor Chinese movements, has an air base in
Kazakhstan and a space monitoring post in Mongolia - both China's neighbors.

How a young India will
beat China (Forbes magazine, 26 Sep '07)

Conventional wisdom
suggests that China will soon rule the world, because of its world leading
population and massive gross domestic product growth. But the median age in
China is 33.2. India, on the other hand, has one of the youngest populations
of the larger countries in the world, coming in at a very young 24.8.
If your company is in a
business that requires a very long-term investment to be successful
(primarily heavy industries like automobiles and steel)? And if you care
about maintaining low wages for as long as possible--then would you consider
China and India to be equivalent? I would place my bet on India, with its
very young population.

From 1900 to 1940,
British India
recorded a growth rate of negative to near zero per cent. The Asian
Development Bank has said INDIA could well be the world's fastest growing
economy.
By 2030,
India
will have advanced more than China, with no serious crises and a single
market. Watch out world:
India is getting to its feet!
