Individual Wealth in India

The total individual wealth in India, held by individuals is estimated at Rs 95 lakh crores (2009-10), as per World Wealth Report.

If we include physical GOLD and real estate, the individual wealth increases to Rs 95 lakh crores (US$ 2.12 trillion).

The individual HNI wealth across the globe is estimated to grow from US$ 39 trillion in 2009 to US$ 48.5 trillion by 2013 at a  growth rate of 5.6%. Hence it may be observed that the Individual Wealth in India which is estimated to grow at 25% compounded rate will grow at more than four times the world rate.

 

Fast Facts:
Individual wealth is expected to reach Rs 144 lakh crores by 2012-13.
